GateTrade has entered into an agreement with TA Future Sdn Bhd to introduce their services to our members.

TA Futures Sdn Bhd is a licensed Futures Broker of the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Bhd (formerly known as MDEX) and a Clearing Participant of the Malaysian Derivatives Clearing House (MDCH). Currently, the group has RM 469 Million of short term funds in placement under fixed deposits with licensed financial institutions, of which RM 408 Million are free from encumbrances.

Crude Palm Oil futures trading
Launched in October 1980, Crude Palm Oil Futures is the most successful commodity futures contract in Malaysia. The main users of this futures market include the refiners, plantations, millers, brokers and dealers. Non-institutional participation contributes to around 65% of the total market volume. The annual turnover for Year 2003 was 1,429,959 lots, up 57.3% as compared to Year 2002. Year end open interest stood at 21,149 lots, compared to 17,280 lots in Year 2002.

TA Futures ranked as the top CPO futures broker by Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad for the year 2003, 2004 and 2005.
